Astoria 29 ST 1
With only a 20minute subway ride from Manhattan, Astoria offers a gazillion of restaurants, nightlife, and facilities for your enjoyment,Oh, there are also the Museum of the Moving Image if you want a change of pace.
While popularly knownfor its Greek community, the neighborhood is home to immigrants from over hundreds of countries as well. Dubbed as one of the coolest, most popular neighborhoods in Queens, Astoria earns its name partly due to the close proximity to Manhattan. You can take either the N, W, or R and Times Squares is only a few minutes away. There are also many ethnic restaurants in Astoria, each offering its own country flare too.
How about heading to Sami’s Kabab House for some lamp chops :relaxed: Or Abuqi Seafood for some Mediterranean cuisines! We recommend the blackened Bronzini or the Egyptian baked bass. You will not regret it!
While Brooklyn is known as the haven for hipsters as it is where they usually choose to reside (did you know we also offer great properties in Bushwick for the hipster in you?), Astoria also welcome the aforementioned with open arms. With only 5 minutes walk away, The Bonnie is where it’s at. Known for its beer garden, food and cocktail selection, you will surely have a wonderful night out without feeling like you are burning your wallet. We recommend the frose blanc and strawberry salad!
The apartment is located in Astoria Queens. Many Japaneses and Europeans live in this area. Just 17 minutes away from Midtown. The location is a very good transportation to commute to your job or school within the area of Manhattan.
There is a couple of Japanese grocery stores, and a lot of cafe/restaurants in front of the nearest station. The street is busy, but it is quiet and a safe neighborhood. I would personally recommend this area since this area can acquire most of your everyday needs.
